Vision
Our Holy Father is calling
us all to participate in the evangelization of the Church, an
evangelization beginning with young people and those who influence
them. The vision of Partnership for Youth is to help youth
discover their reason for being, through their relationship with
Christ within the fullness of the Catholic Church.
Mission
Awaken and strengthen
young people in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His
Church by providing Catholic programs
Testimonials
This conference has deepened my
faith by again experiencing that I am not alone in my Catholic
faith and it makes me not want to survive my hectic life, but to
live it. I was reminded that even when it seems like there’s no
one there for me, Jesus is, and He loves me, and He holds me in
His arms and my heart in His hands. I learned to find the true
beauty in myself and really believe that I am beautiful. I will
live out the ‘Above All’ theme by letting God into every area of
my life and accepting that He has a plan for everything and it’s a
whole lot better than mine. Youth Participant
It was a great pleasure and joy to
attend both of the Steubenville North events this year. I attended
the Rochester conference as a chaperone, and by seeing the good
work being done, and by promptings of the Spirit, signed up to
volunteer for this past weekend’s Steubenville North in St Paul. .
. I know that the fruits of these weekends will echo in this life,
and the joys will be multiplied in heaven.
Chaperone and Volunteer
My favorite part of the entire experience is actually all the
building up to Saturday’s adoration. . . When you get to
experience a teen saying, ‘I want to be next to Him’, ‘I want to
lead others closer to Him’ and ‘I want to be closer’ there is
something special about that experience. Christ amongst His church
and being adored like a rock star! 2000+ teenagers longing for
Christ to be present in their lives and then leaving wanting every
single one of their friends and family members to have the same
experience. . . That’s why I go to Steubenville youth conferences
and encourage others to experience at least one for themselves.

During the Steubenville youth conference, these blessed young
people not only had an opportunity to learn about our faith, but
also experience the richness of our tradition. They had a positive
experience with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, had a
wonderful opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation,
and participated in two powerful Liturgies. It doesn’t get much
more Catholic that this. And, all of these powerful experiences
were woven into the event in an age-appropriate way that steered
young people toward active participation in their faith. Mark Nuehring, Director of Lifelong Faith Formation Diocese of Winona
I was really blown away by the 1250 young people and chaperones! I
was equally blown away by the emphasis upon the Mass, Eucharistic
Devotion, prayer, confession and witness living and fearless
missionary outreach. God bless you for all you do especially for
these young people.

History
Beginning in 1999 and coordinated by John Crudele, focus groups,
including priests, youth ministers, laity, and representatives
from other local Catholic youth organizations were assembled to
explore what it would take to make a local youth conference
possible. Franciscan University of Steubenville had written
letters to the Archbishop of St Paul and Minneapolis and he
welcomed them to organize a conference, but there was no local
organization willing to take on this huge project. So with the
blessing of the Archbishop, John Crudele Presentations partnered
with Covenant Ministries, a local non-profit, to host the first
two Steubenville North Youth Conferences in St Paul, MN. Upon
their success, John Crudele, along with a small group of dedicated
faith-filled individuals, formally founded Partnership for Youth,
in September of 2002. The goals were to host, support and expand
the Steubenville North Youth Conference as well as develop and
offer other large, dynamic, Catholic youth conferences and
training.
Since it’s inception in 2002, Partnership for Youth as continued
to grow, adding a second Steubenville North Youth Conference in
Rochester, MN as well as developing and hosting a variety of
one-day events and trainings, with a record of providing high
quality, professionally delivered events and event planning
experiences.
Today Partnership for Youth is governed by a Board of Directors
and led by Executive Director, Amy Cummings. Amy, along with a
small staff and a dedicated core group of volunteers organize and
host our various events serving youth in the Midwestern United
States and Canada.
